On a training note, congratulations to Martin Tevaseu, DT from UNLV on his Pro-Day today! He did a great job! Our biggest task was dropping his weight from 346lbs in January to an impressive 308 on test day (March 25th)! That’s an impressive 38 lbs on just over 2 months! Great job Martin, all while gaining 8 reps on his 225 Bench Press. Intense training twice a day is not an easy task, but Martin put in work and it will all pay off come draft day!

I also wanted to wish E.J. Reid the best of luck at the Hawaii Pro-Day next Thursday (April 1st) at the Home Depot center in southern California. He is a great athlete that has been working his tail off for the last few months. He is another defensive lineman that needed to trim down while still testing better in all of his drills. I will be making the trip down to So Cal next week to watch all of his hard work pay off! So far his weight is down and he has gained reps on his 225 bench press and has really done a great job with his lateral movement drills.
Kudos to the both of you! And I want tickets next year!!
Now that the big guys are almost done I plan on getting back to work on the Offensive Lineman strength and technique manual! I will be posting more on this blog, as well as the Offensive Lineman Blog
